Golf always reminds me of one sentence “men and rats always find new holes”. When it comes to golf, it is all about holes, poles, wet, grass/bush, sticks and balls.
Lately my cute friends dragged me into golf, for a moment I felt as if to me golf was an arranged marriage, when I got into it, LOVE HAPPENED!!
Tiger woods reminds us of the best golf one could ever imagine, he was lately caught his pants down. So far, around 13 women revealed that they slept with Mr. Woods; no wonder 13 reminds us of 18 holes in golf. I am sure Mr. Wood must have been passionate about the game; poor guy, his brain is programmed to think about holes. At times I get scared because too much focus on different holes is not good for healthy relationship.
For men, holes make golf sexy but for women it gets sexier because of the sticks and balls. Many women hate men esp. those men who are categorized as PIGS, while hitting balls women get pleasure to take out their anger.
Few of my friends have gone to a level where they believe that golf is far better than sex because it is perfectly respectable to golf with a total stranger. If you are having trouble with golf, it is perfectly acceptable to pay a professional to show you how to improve your technique. Your golf partner won't keep asking questions about other partners you've golfed with. If your regular golf partner isn't available, he/she won't object if you golf with someone else. Nobody will ever tell you that you will go blind if you golf by yourself. There is no such thing as a "golf transmitted disease." Nobody expects you to give up golfing if your partner loses interest in the game. Your golf partner will never say, "What ? We just golfed last week ! Is that all you ever think about ?". When you see a really good golfer, you don't have to feel guilty about imagining the two of you golfing together
Another interesting aspect of golf is even if the course is wet and bushy one can still play :p
Lately I got to know that in golf, foursome is encouraged and another interesting aspect is you don’t have to cuddle with your partner when you are finished. Even if your equipment gets old and rusty, you can replace it.
Isn’t it real sexy game??? :p

Maradona Mania Still Alive; We Love You.
Diego Maradona is one of the person I adored since childhood, he is my hero, my icon, my ideal; he is one of the most adorable character I have ever come across in my life.
While growing up, to me he was the person used to bring smile on my face, early 90s world cup loss against Germany & Maradona’s cry, made me burst into tears & sleepless.
His relationship with Hugo Chavez, Castro and political ideals simply sets him apart from the rest of the football heroes. He is people’s hero, people call him GOD, & he is!
I am glad his legacy still thrives and mania and frenzy still alive. His recent Indian visit attracted 100,000 people. People forget about Mumbai terror attack & Maradona brought healing smile on the face of ordinary public.
BBC reports “Hordes of autograph-hunters and photographers broke the police cordon at the stadium and mobbed Maradona before he ran on to the field to display his ball skills. Hundreds of young footballers, doubling up as ball boys, rushed in to touch his feet or embrace him”. "He is God for us, so we touch his feet," said schoolboy footballer Kajal Das.
Maradona was showered with gifts - a golden boot, a golden ball, a full statue of him in his blue-and-white Argentina jersey and much else.
Amazing thing happened was, he set Calcutta on fire, what one would expect Football, Politics & Maradona Flamboyance :)

My Love for HOGs
I have been passionate about many things “excluding hot women over 40s :P” on top of the list is Sports esp. soccer. Lately at LUMS I did a strategy analysis of Harley Davidson & also watched the movie Incredible HOGS.
I have truly fallen in love with “Not any girl plzzz” Harley Davidson Cult, the bikes, & their philosophy.
I love the way Harley Owners Group travel in an organized way to share their passion and show their pride.
One day, I would love to be part of HOGs.

Blue Ocean Strategy in Indian Premiere Cricket League
IPL Cricket has been an example of innovation in services & attracting consumers. It showed how competition brings improvement. It reminds me of US NFL franchise football, which attracts the prime time viewers to great deal.
I remember cricket used to be boring affairs, 5 days, white clothes, only oldies cheering on the Lords benches. Then innovative Aussie cricket C Pecker style came with color clothes, white ball, fun and frolic.
Every innovation changed the rule of the game, it changed the way people perceived the game, money and fame followed.
IPLs three hours version, with Bollywood stuff, fast, fun, and celeb combined cracked the prime time soap operas and IPL became the household name. IPL success reminds of an insightful book Blue Ocean Strategy, as an example of creating a new and uncontested playing field, creating an arena where the competition simply cannot compete, as the rules of the game have changed. The pure circus companies, saddled with their costs of maintaining traditional animal shows, etc, were not able to copy the format, and Cirque carved out a lucrative niche for itself.
Cricket at LORDS was a royal affair, and then five days was not exciting for masses. IPL version is an awesome example of Blue Ocean Strategy, attracting the range of masses on the bottom of the pyramid, be it housewives or professionals.

GOD, Why me?????
Wimbledon tennis is around the corner, I came across an interesting story, just wanted to share.
Arthur the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to the infected blood he received during a heart surgery. From the world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed;
Arthur the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to the infected blood he received during a heart surgery. From the world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed;
“Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease?”
To this Arthur replied : “ The world over 50 mill children start playing tennis, 5 mill learn to play tennis, 0.5 mill learn professional tennis, 50,000 come to the Circuit, 5,000 reach the Grand Slam, 50 reach Wimbledon, 4 to the Semi Finals, 2 to the Finals.
When I was holding the Cup I never asked GOD why me? And today pain I should not be asking God “Why me”?
Interesting one, lets see this time who will win the Wimbledon Crown, Roger, Nadal, Serena or Venus.....

Impossible is Nothing
I was glad to see determined side of Spain winning the coveted Euro Cup. Young blood with awesome fighting spirit.
Their simple belief on few words "Impossible is Nothing" made a difference.
At times i look at life, whenever we fell down, meet bad time or failures, we lose hope. At times we encounter challenges and tough tasks, at times Patience is tested by continuous turmoil in life.....but thing that makes the difference, is the self belief ....belief on the words " Impossible is Nothing.....
I still remember, there was a time when everything in my life came to stand still , be it work or relationship...hope started dwindling and frustration was leading the life. I did not lose faith in myself, set high goals and started achieving them one by one and only following words made a difference "Impossible in Nothing"....
I always try to be nice with people, stretch myself way beyond but disappointment due to high expectation make me feel down but life moves on.....journey could only be fun if one believes that Impossible in Nothing.....

Tour De Sindh….Truly Mystic
I love reading about cultures and enjoy the cultural monuments. Today, I had an opportunity to see Sindhi national game, Malakharo, it is response to Punjab’s Kabadi and similar to Japanese SUMO.
It is a wrestling in Sindhi style, Sindh loves sufi saints and every year Sufi Urs ‘birthday’ is celebrated with Malakharo, feast and Qawali and mystic festival at Sufi Shrines.
The Malakharo is wrestle between two opponents; both try to topple the opponent on the ground, showing the power and tricks. When a Malh “person who plays Malakharo” wins he gets the reward from guest as well as crowd.
After Malakharo, everyone gathers at the shrine to pay homage to saint. Qawali, Mystic music along with Dhamal takes over the night…..
It is fun experiencing the Sindhi culture in the suburban town of Karachi. A good respite from the hectic material life of Karachi.

Final Twist Brings Man United Glory Again
It was a close and tough fight which ended 1-1 draw.....match was decided on penalty shoot outs, resulted in Man U 6 and Chelsea 5. John Terry missed the penalty, which made John tears to burst for the first time...........it made me emotional too...anyways, it is soccer it happens. But good part is that it was a tough and equal ending.
Manchester United are once more engulfed in the delirious joy of Champions League melodrama. They were on the verge of defeat in the shoot-out as the Chelsea captain John Terry came up to take the penalty that would have brought the Champions League trophy to Stamford Bridge. His standing foot slipped as he struck the ball and the effort flew wide. A failure by Cristiano Ronaldo had been cancelled out.

English Rivalry on Russian Soil
It has been weeks i have been waiting for the day when my favorite Chelsea will meet Man U on Russian soil in Champions League final.
Good part is that i love both the teams and who so ever wins, am glad that Champions League trophy remains with an English Club.
Chelsea and Manchester United will make history on Wednesday when they meet in the first all-English Champions League final at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium. Both sides have shrugged off concerns about the pitch, which has been called "disappointing" by the groundsman.
Chelsea are confident Ashley Cole will overcome an ankle problem but Sir Alex Ferguson's side have no injury worries. United are seeking their third triumph in the competition, while Chelsea have never made it this far before. The final falls 50 years after the Munich air crash claimed the lives of 23 people, including eight United players.
Let us see who will make the history tonight....

Man U Clinched Premier League
Finally over 10 months long wait ended when Man United defeated Wigan Athletics by 2 goals...On points table we guys were expecting that at least Chelsea will have equal points and on goal score basis Man U would win but unfortunately Chelsea ended with a draw in the last match with Bolton W.
After 38 matches, Man U earned 87 points, clinching the prestigious title and Chelsea ended up with 85 points.

I was supposed to offer a grand treat to my friends if Chelsea had won but unfortunately not....lets see both teams are meeting on 23rd in MOSCOW in Champions League final...I expect Chelsea would make us happy but John Terry and Drogba, both are injured....But if you are looking for the single biggest reason why the trophy is staying at Old Trafford, then an individual has to come to the fore - Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro.
The Portuguese maestro's 31 league goals did not just make him only the fifth man in Premier League history to reach the 30-goal landmark. They also proved crucial in helping Sir Alex Ferguson's men finish top of the table - Chelsea simply did not have a goal scorer to match.
