Balochistan Package; Too Little Too Late!!!!!

 Enough is enough, I am going to go to mountains, apologize, hug them and say Big Sorry to our Baloch brothers “President Zardari” I am all for development, I have developed Balochistan, look around mega projects, there are only three sardars against the development “President Musharraf

The Balochistan is one of the regions with long history of struggle, pain, cry and blood. Finally we see yet another rhetoric 'time will tell' known as Aghaz e Huqooq e Balochistan “New Beginning for the Rights of Balochistan” has finally been presented in Parliament. As per the package, Army would be sent back to barracks, people believe that army treated everyone in colonial fashion, the way Israeli army treats Palestinian in West Bank and Gaza.

Under contraction Army Garrisons would be handed over to Frontier Constabulary, people believe that everyone knows the role of FC; lately bullets were sprayed on innocent men, women and children in Buleda. FC is one of the most hated forces in Balochistan is going to be stationed in Sui.

Government promised to conduct an inquiry on the killing of Nawab Bugti, well people reminds everyone that there is a long list starts with brutal and forceful invasion of the State of Kalat on 28th March 1948. It began with the humiliation of Khan Karim then killing of aged Nawab Noroze Khan to killing of over 5,000 innocent men, women and children during 70s, killing of Bugti and displacement of over 80,000 people. Ordinary people are skeptic and they believe, how would just one inquiry ‘we are not sure anyone acts on the findings’ heal over 60 years of pain and cry!!! As per package FC would report to Chief Minister, Baloch reminds us that everyone knows that Chief of Army Staff reports to Prime Minister but poor Bloody Civilian could easily be toppled by twenty to fifty men in Uniform. Package consists of constitutional, political and administrative clauses. It also talks about Political Autonomy but if one talks to people they do not want to hear the word Pakistan and their struggle is for the right of self rule. It also talks about transferring gas development surcharge from 1954 to 1990; people on the other hand want to have control over their resources instead of waiting for Islamabad’s transfer of few billions. To them its charity and they want the ownership. All political prisoners would be freed, people believe that State frorces have kidnapped hundreds and State denies that none is in the custody. Package says only people without serious charges will be freed, but people believe that every other person in custody has serious charges. People are skeptic, its need of the hour to trace back kidnapped/missing persons, if they were illegally detained, strong measures to be taken against the brutal forces. Scholarship for students announced but people want institutions not scholarships. 5,000 jobs announced, people don’t want jobs they ant to own the resources. There is extreme mistrust between State and Baloch, people think they are at war; whole issue is about the rights of resource ownership and it revolves around national and democratic question of Balochistan. People do not trust, they want UN intervention, a third credible party to ensure the rights of people. Lastly, I lament that no nationalist politician in Balochistan or in exile was consulted . Issue requires deeper understanding, to conclude, I would still say it is a good beginning to use it as confidence building measures but it is a long way to go!!!

Bullets Sprayed on Innocent Shahnaz, A Baloch School Teacher!!! BBC Urdu Riaz Suhail (9th Sep 09)

On last Sunday FC firing wounded many; Ms Shahnaz was also one of them. Shahnaz is from a remote town of Balochistan known as MAND, it was her first ever participation in public gathering held in TUMP. She didn’t know that first ever step to be part of gathering would pose grave danger to her life. On Sunday, Frontier Constabulary opened fire in TUMP, wounded Ms Shahnaz; she was attending the Soyam “Memorial gathering on 3rd day of death” of young poet Mir Jan Meeral at TUMP High School, Meeral was killed by FC few days back. Shahnaz explains, men, women and children were attending peaceful gathering and listening to Balochi poetry, all of sudden peaceful gathering turned into blood bath. FC surrounded the High School building and entered, neither they asked people to leave or end the gathering instead they baton charged indiscriminatingly and sprayed bullets.

Shahnaz further shared, that her 20 year old cousin received bullets and fell down, she ran away towards him but ended up receiving bullet on her neck. Women took her to TUMP hospital, doctors gave her initial treatment then she was taken to Turbat Hospital and then to Karachi. During this indiscriminate firing, Shahnaz’s cousin a 10th grade student Mukhtar Baloch was killed and her father Abdul Rehman was injured. Shahnaz is a primary school teacher at Former Federal Education Minister Ms Zubeda Jalal’s school, received bullet on her neck, she tells that she can not move her right hand and arm, using oxygen mask and going through extreme pain.

When I asked her, what made her to participate in socio-political gathering, she said, Baloch are not getting their economic rights for example Balochistan provide gas to rest of the country but people in Balochistan are still using Iranian LPG gas cylinders, at times it costs them Rs 1,000 to 1,500. Shahnaz’s father Abdul Rehman Rind believes that his life has turned bleak, young daughter is on death bed, his nephew; he raised him like his own son was killed. But I feel satisfied that my nephew died for the country, his crime was that he was part of peaceful gathering. Abdul Rehman shows his wounded back, he said, FC attacked them as if they were attacking the enemy forces. Abdul Rehman owns a Dumper Truck, for Shahnaz, he sold his land, he explains that in Turbat Hospital, even they are not equipped to treat Malaria so he had to bring Shahnaz to Karachi. Rehman protests that peaceful gathering is our democratic right; even after this brutal attack he will never stop his kids to attend any sociopolitical gathering.

Of a Young Baloch Man

 YAAR Jaan, a proud Baloch from Buleda village, near Turbat, has recently completed his BS in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering and Technology. He did that in style standing first in the final year examinations. He got two gold medals; one for Best academic performance and the other for Best Overall Performance. I had the privilege to interview Yaar Jan for a job. Here is what I learnt about him. Realizing the amount of effort that he had put in to achieve what he has achieved, my first question was, “What was the driving forced behind all this ?” His answer was no less surprising than his academic record. He wanted to do something which will make his father and his village proud and he realized that the only way to achieve his objective was to get education. Key to education was English language and at a very young age he decided that must learn English. He went to a school in Turbat and remained there till Class VIII. He had to get out of Turbat to study further. He came to Karachi and joined a school in Lyari, his resources would not permit anything else. He passed his metric examinations in flying colors which enabled him to get admission in DJ Science College. He was selected for admission in LUMS, However, he knew that business education was not his cup of tea; he must study science and technology. He applied for admission in GIK and got selected there too. Based on his record he got merit based tuition waiver scholarship from government of Balochistan. He has recently completed a 10 week internship in Corrosion and Energy Storage Materials Laboratory in South Korea. Yaar Jan has not restricted himself to books and studies; he takes part in other activities as well. He got selected for President’s Institute of Engineering and Technology, GIK chapter, and was also selected as the general secretary of the Society for the Promotion of Higher Education in Pakistan. He organized electrical engineering conference and educational expositions at GIK. He was the only undergraduate to present a technical paper at the sixth International Conference on Applied Science and Technology held at Bhurban and participated in a six day Young Leaders Conference held in Lahore. Yaar Jaan has not only made his fathers and village proud, he has made all of us proud. He is the future of Buleda, the future of Balochistan and the future of Pakistan. Balochistan & Pakistan; Relationship Gone Sour !!!

Today i came across an interesting news published in New York Times on 12th August 1947, just two days before the independence of Pakistan.

It was intriguing to note that Balochistan along with Nepal had option to remain independent and both opted for it. However, Balochistan was merged “alleged that it was forceful invasion” on 27th March 1948 with Pakistan.

On 12 August 1947 The New York Times published Pakistan's announcement which read: "Karachi, Aug, 11, 1947 [AP] - Among the congratulatory messages read to the Pakistan assembly today was one from United States Secretary of State George C. Marshall. An announcement from New Dehli said that Kalat, Moslem State in Balochistan, had reached an agreement with Pakistan for a free flow of communication and commerce, and would negotiate for decisions on defense, external affairs and communications. Under the agreement Pakistan recognizes Kalat as an independent, sovereign state with a status different from that of Indian states". Baloch accuse Pakistan for invasion, as agreed that they would respect the independence of Balochistan.

Well, it is clear the Balochistan was granted a special status as compared to other states. One may argue, but after the creation of Pakistan, a lot of negligence took place on the part of central government pertaining to the equitable distribution of national income. Balochistan remained the most backward, this lead to political animosity and discomfort towards centere, leading to the militant reaction.

It is the high time that Pakistani state, immediately address the concerns of Balochistan, initiate dialogue and deliver economically on urgent basis. If we do not keep our house in order, others will get an opportunity to exploit.

Confidence building measures is the need of the hour, hope sanity prevails, before it is too late.

Pipeline Dream, Passing Through Balochistan !!

Pakistan has finally inked the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project. A pipeline dream is about to become a reality. It is around 785 Km long line stretching from Iranian Paras field to Gwadar and to Nawabshah. The overall project cost is USD 1.2 bill, it is expected that financing would be arranged by next year and overall project would take 4 years to complete. On the saving part it is expected that USD 1 bill would be saved per year in account of reduced oil import bill, so investment would be recovered within one year of operation. It is expected that gas would be used to generate 4,000 MW energy so that hungry Pakistani industries get rid of load shedding. It is going to be a milestone for Pakistani economic growth; otherwise, expensive LNG import option from Qatar would have been considered. Large part of the pipeline would pass through Balochistan, keeping in view the feelings of deprivation in Balochistan, the socio-political cost of investment and risk may be much higher than envisaged amount. So far people in Balochistan consider the state policies anti Baloch and colonial in nature, they believe that state is exploiting the natural resources and returning peanuts to province through National Finance Award (NFC is national fiscal disbursement formula based on population, Balochistan population is just 6 to 8 mill out of 170 mill people). If such level of extreme distrust prevails in the minds of people, I am afraid the pipeline dream may be a distant dream, until a win-win approach is used in winning the hearts and minds of people through initial and urgent CBMs (confidence building measures). People of Pakistan have suffered a lot lately, the country’s geography and resources are favorable to make Pakistan an economic tiger of the region, provided we think in win-win direction. To make sure pipeline dream is accomplished, it is imperative to initiate confidence building measures on war footing grounds with the politicians and elders of Balochistan. Revive & consider the Senator Mushahid Hussein and Senator Wasim Sajjad Committee findings and Senator Raza Rabbani’s suggested points. Conclude and take immediate actions, bring back insurgents into political fold through conceding amnesty. Four year would be sufficient enough to create a win-win situation; if we just keep blaming India for creating trouble in Balochistan, I am afraid things may turn worse. Hope sanity prevails and we see constructive steps all around.

Balochistan; Human Development from 7th Century Millennium BC, Way Ancient than Moan Jo Daro “Indus Valley Civilization” of 2,600 BC.

Last month I met Dr Ute Franke of Germany at Goethe Institute Karachi, she was there to share her archeological research findings with Karachites. She forwarded me a detailed copy of her archeological findings; it is so recent that many of my friends are unaware that Balochistan witnessed Human Development from 7th millennium BC, whereas Moan Jo Daro “Indus Valley Civilization” existed around 2,600 BC. Egypt entered its 7th millennium in the year 2000, whereas Balochistan entered into 9th millennium , the fact very few people know about it !!  Dr Franke shared the research study, titled “Balochistan and the Borderlands”, she writes “Balochistan is a huge landmass that extends from western Pakistan into southeastern Iran and southern Afghanistan and separates the open alluvial plains of the Indian subcontinent from the Iranian Plateau.  It is the largest part of the Indo-Iranian borderlands which also include parts of the North- West Frontier Province, Kandahar, and Hilmand Provinces in Afghanistan, and Sistan/Balochistan in Iran. These regions formed, at times, a cultural landscape linked through traits such as architecture and artifact styles, interpreted as evidence for exchange, shared technologies, values, and ideas. In Balochistan, human development from the seventh millennium BC onwards, from mobile food hunters and gatherers to sedentary communities based on farming and animal husbandry, has been uncovered.  Increasing levels of complexity in economy and technology, social and political organization, accompanied by a population growth and settlement expansion, fostered the development of villages, towns, and cities and provided the basis for urbanization and state formation. Throughout, this tradition maintained a distinctive character, notwithstanding regional differences and changing patterns of interaction. The purpose of this paper is to outline this development, with a focus on Balochistan. In order to understand the preconditions and to assess its role, we will first discuss the natural conditions that govern human life and then look at the cultural communities that formed the conceptual landscape. She concludes her paper saying “It has become evident that human development is manifested in Balochistan from the seventh millennium onward. While this development was, in genera l, continuous, regional differences and changes in the material culture through time were present. The emerging picture does not reflect a ‘monocultural’ region, but a patterned landscape, marked by the appearance and disappearance of particular cultural styles. Looking at the cycles of growth, expansion, and abandonment, it becomes clear that in cultural terms, prehistoric Balochistan was neither a border nor a frontier, but a dynamic interact ion zone. Nevertheless, the communities that made the processes described above happen did not be come integrated into a large scale, coherent entity, not withstanding the fact that smaller regions, such as southeastern Balochistan and Sindh Kohistan, were closely interrelated during the early third millennium BC. One likely reason why a large-scale merger did not happen probably is the rugged topography. The importance of terrain as determining factor becomes clear when we look at the region’s more recent history. As in Afghanistan, expanding conquerors and empires, be it Dareios or Alexander the Great, nomadic tribes from the north, or the British army, had their hold on Balochistan because it was important as a trespass. But they never ruled it for long – and they left very few archaeological traces. Whenever possible, preference was given to the maritime route and water ways, or the open plains. Only then, it was considered a barrier and it never regained the economic and cultural prosperity of its prehistoric past when it was a center in its own right which participated in and contributed to regional development processes.”

Central to Dr Franke's research was area mainly SOHR DAMB/NAL and French team was focused to MIRI QALAT, SHAHI TUMP and DASHT PLANE. 

Baloch Society is all about Honor & Revenge!!

If one asks me the core values that prevails in Baloch society, my answer would be simple, it is Honor and Revenge. History tells us the same story, British took to govern the empire that now constitutes Pakistan through an approach or a formula, it says, `Rule the Punjabis, intimidate the Sindhis, buy the Pushtun, and honor the Baloch. British learned the core values that prevails in Baloch society and history is witness that they hard cordial relationship with the subject, they knew the empire building tactics. On the other side if one looks at the history of Balochistan after the creation of Pakistan, one would find constant disgrace of Baloch followed by humiliation. Be it forced annexation of March 1948 or killing of Khan Karim , or disgrace of 80 year old Mr. Naurooz Khan, deceiving through false promises and using Holy Quran , trapping him to lay arms which was followed by his disgraceful hanging at an old age. Be it 1970s army operation, killing of thousands of innocent or recent humiliation by President Musharraf, threatening, saying Baloch would not know what would hit them, to him Baloch are traitors and to be dealt with disgraceful fashion. Killing of Bugti or Balach, thousands of men and women already disappeared, physically assaulted and sexually abused are examples of disgrace. Unfortunately, most of the Pakistanis do not know Baloch history, society, values, had they known the importance of Honor, we would not have been facing present day crisis. If one humiliates Baloch honor it would be followed or responded with the instinct of revenge. After so much Pakistani humiliation, to me whole Baloch society is fueled with the fire of revenge. Solution to Balochistan problems requires deeper understanding than just passing statement that it is foreign hand, helping Baloch traitors. Revenge of history is painful, it is high time to not to be ignorant.

Changing Dynamics of Sardari System in Balochistan!!

Baloch society is at the verge of a change, it is an evolution which is abnormal and forced by the present circumstance. Change is all about the transformation of sardari influence to Politicized Balochistan. There was a time, institution of politics was managed or influenced by the sardar(Tribal Chief) . In general, sardar used to have narrow tribal outlook but change is knocking at the door. In the past Bugti, Mengal and Marri were the sardars along with political influence, however as we see in the case of next generation i.e., their sons, we do not find Bugti, Mengal or Marri’s elder son influencing the society as sardar. Sardar Attaullah’s nephew, Asad Ullah Mengal , is sardar today but political Akhtar Mengal has more influence, similarly Marri’s elder son Changez is logical heir but people recognize political late Balach or Haair Beyaar, In the case of Bugti, his grandson , ‘Salem’s son’ Mir Aali is on the way to Dera Bugti to claim his sardari but people and society has deep respect for political Brahmdag . On the other hand, historically, Khanate “Khan of Kalat” was supreme sardar in Balochistan; no body knew Mr. Suleman Ahmed Zai, until he turned political and called a Jirga on present day political issues of Balochistan. Chief of Jhalawan Mr Aslam Raisani or Chief of Sarawan Mr Sanaullah Zehri, being the superior sardars are less powerful than political Haair Beyaar, Akhtar Mengal or Brahmdag. It is the politics that is driving forward the social dynamics and influence of sardar is declining. If one looks at the political institution, it has connected Baloch middle class with political leadership from sardar family. Politicians with sardari background, instead of narrow tribal, group outlook, they are visualizing Baloch and Balochistan, as a whole, irrespective of social status of agroup. To me, if I conclude, at times good things happen in bad times, I am glad that politicization of society and declining influence of the institution of sardar is going to benefit Baloch society more than the medieval sardari narrow outlook. One should not ignore the changes on ground taking place; this will have far greater impact on regional political dynamics as well.

What’s Wrong with Baluchistan???

Being a Baluch I am often asked a question regarding Baluch struggle against strong center, I usually end up responding to the question with historical snapshot…. Recently a Special Report published by US Center for International Policy title “Pakistan the State of the Union, by SELIG S. HARRISON. Let me share snap shot of the report to respond to the question What’s Wrong with Baloch !!! Never Been Part of Pakistan Movement: Neither the Baluch nor the Pashtuns supported the Pakistan movement. In contrast to the Baluch and the Pashtuns, some Sindhis did support the Moslem League, and Sind was incorporated into Pakistan peacefully Lahore Resolution; A Deception: The Muslim League sought unsuccessfully to win them over by pledging in its Lahore Resolution of March 23, 1940, that the projected Pakistani state would be a confederation in which the constituent units would be “autonomous and sovereign” and central government powers would be limited to defense, foreign affairs, foreign trade, communications and currency. But the Baluch fought militarily against their incorporation into Pakistan until the Pakistan Army occupied Baluchistan in 1958, and they have subsequently waged three insurgencies to win the autonomy promised in the Lahore Resolution or, failing that, independence. Frequent Army Action in Colonial Fashion: From 1973 to 1977, some 80,000 Pakistani troops were needed to defeat insurgent forces; in 2005, six Army brigades were needed, plus paramilitary forces totaling more than 25,000 men. Punjab’s Loot & Plunder of Economic Resources ; A Reality Check: Punjab’s per capita income of more the $80 compares with $54 for Baluchistan; the literacy rate in Punjab is seven times higher than that of Baluchistan, and the infant mortality rate in Baluchistan (130 per 1,000 live births) compares with a national average of 70. One glaring example of Punjabi economic exploitation is that Baluchistan does not get a fair share of the benefits of its own gas deposits. Although gas obtained from Baluchistan accounts for 30 percent of Pakistan’s total gas production, Baluchistan consumes only 17 percent of its own output, while the remaining 83 percent goes to the rest of the country, primarily to the Punjab The central government charges a much lower price for Baluchistan gas than for gas produced in other provinces and pays lower royalties. Sui gas is extracted under the direct control of the Pakistan armed forces and interfering with access to the gas has repeatedly been a goal of Baluch insurgents. Baluchistan has some 19 trillion cubic feet of undeveloped gas reserves, six trillion barrels of undeveloped oil reserves and extensive copper and gold deposits that cannot be developed until a political accommodation is reached with the Baluch leaders. At present, 22 foreign investment ventures in Baluchistan licensed by the central government are paralyzed because Baluch leaders challenge the right of the central government to conclude these licensing agreements without Baluch participation that will assure the Baluch populace an equitable share of the benefits of future profits. Zia Representing Army Believe Baloch are SAVAGE: a conversation with the late President Zia Ul-Haq, a Punjabi, on March 8, 1980, Zia, referring to the Baluch, said that “some of them are almost savages, not like the rest of us.” Members of the minorities often cite the statement by former President Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in his submission to the Supreme Court shortly before his execution.

Shari, Protesting Baloch Girl Asks Pakistan, “Where is My Father?”

Tonight I came across a sentimental video on BBC on gross human rights violation in Baluchistan. Video showed little 9 year old girl Shari, protesting in Karachi, her father Wahid Kambar is one of the several men who have disappeared. It is alleged that government and law enforcement agencies are behind such disappearance. Wahid disappeared on 14th March last year and Shari explained that govt has also informed that he has been arrested. If there is any allegation he and other guys must be produced before court. She protested in crying voice, “we are on street I will commit suicide, it is better to die, my father is the only bread earner for family” innocently she questioned “why we baloch have to face all brutalities?” Sitting in Lahore in my dorm, Shari’s appeal made me sentimental, made me cry, I set aside my books and started thinking deep about the plight of my people in Baluchistan. Next segment showed interview of Karema Baloch, she said our protest is as per UN charter, right of self determination is every nation’s right, be it Kashmir or Palestine. As per Karema around 8,000 men and women have been disappeared. I started asking questions to myself “How long this brutal game will continue? Isn’t it enough, been over 60 years, for God sake!!!….history teaches us, it is not possible to enslave people and depress the free will. Peace is the product of justice, no justice no peace. Bleeding wounds of Baluchistan need healing hand.

Baloch; Refugees on Their Own Land, Why??????

It has been three years army operation started in Dera Bugti & Kohlu areas of Baluchistan. It resulted in internal displacement of 80,000 people. Men and women along with children found refuge on barren land in various places in Sind, Punjab & Baluchistan. Since then, these people are forgotten by state, political parties and so called NGOs. These internally displaced refugees are living in temporary shelter/hut, facing harsh weather. Little to eat, clean clothes is a distant dream, water and enough food is missing. Irony is that last year international donor agencies wanted to help these people but state did not allow them to rescue malnourished children and impoverished families. Why it is so? Aren’t they Pakistani? Aren’t they Human? What is their crime? Is anybody listening…..…can anyone tell me, why??????

Baloch Kid Grows with Steps on Gold; But Yet Poor; Why???

Reko Diq “means sand mountain” in Balochi, carries over 12.3 million tons of copper and 20.9 million ounces of gold as mentioned by development expert Syed Fazl e Haider.

Whenever I read about wealth of Balochsitan, it makes me think, why people are living below the poverty line. Small population, vast land filled with riches but poverty, hunger and backwardness of Stone Age looms over Balochsitan.

Lately, Mir Mohd Ali Talpur tried to explain the saga, he writes “There is a saying in Baluchistan that a Baloch child may be without socks, but when he grows up every step he takes will be on gold. Reko Diq, Saindak, Sui all prove that the barefooted Baloch do tread on gold. That this wealth hasn’t benefited them isn’t accidental.

Since 1947, successive governments at the centre have pursued a policy of intimidation and coercion towards the Baloch

The goal has been to coerce the population into acquiescence so that exploitation can be conducted in a threat-free environment Credible international surveys indicate the wealth of resources and suggest that the area is home to one of the biggest copper reserves in the world with over 11 billion pounds of copper and nine million ounces of gold.

The people will end up poorer and the aquifers and the environment in general will be contaminated with cyanide, arsenic, etc with unremittingly grave consequences for the people. Given the frenzied way in which the authorities, the politicians and predatory corporations are ravaging Baluchistan’s precious resources, one can only wonder why the rulers in Islamabad are surprised, offended and annoyed when the resentment against such injustices results in insurgencies. There is a famous saying, inspired me since childhood “Peace is the product of justice”, no justice, no peace. Hope sanity prevails……….revenge of history is brutal.

Burying Women Alive & Shocking Baluchistan

I have recently come across a sad & shocking story; it says “five women had been buried alive in Balochistan in the name of honour”. The issue was brought in Senate for discussion, “a nationalist senator from Balochistan, Mir Israrullah Zehri, stunned the Senate by defending the burial alive of five women in Balochistan terming it an act within Baloch tribal traditions and advised the House not to exaggerate the issue”. The only fault of those innocent women that they had married as per their choice, which is allowed in any civilized society or any religion. I am also a Baloch but would not link the Baloch traditions to such kind of horrible act against humanity. No Baloch “or human” can dare to even think of taking such action. Apart from medieval tribal tradition, I hope sanity would prevail and STATE OF PAKISTAN “if functional” would come ahead to take action against the so called moral police of tribal land”. It is against the Fundamental Rights “ensured or protected in Chapter 1, from article 8 to 28” of the supreme law of Pakistan i.e., the constitution. It is also the responsibility of the Supreme Court of Pakistan to take suo moto action as per article 284 of the constitution. As a responsible citizen, it is our collective responsibility to speak up against the grave human rights violation. We all can make a difference with small efforts. I am sure, the remains of great historical baloch figures “Mir. Chackar & Mir Balach” would also be in shock and awe.

Edhi on Begging Mission in Balochistan, Why?????

I was sad to see so called philanthropist Edhi, sitting on the streets of Queeta on a begging mission to generate funds to run his charity. I have no issue the way he is running his charity, he has love for human being, he even goes all the way to Lebanon to help affected Muslims, be it Kashmir or Palestine, Edhi is always on forefront.

I lament saying that recently Pakistan air force bombing resulted in internal displacement of over 100,000 men and women across Balochistan. Families are living a helpless life, no food and safe drinking water. Kids having filthy water and resulting in kidney failures.

There are scores of international relief call across globe by leading global organizations.

I just want to ask, where is EDHI when men and women displaced across Balochistan, they are shelter less, no food and no water…..if Edhi can go to Lebanon why cold attitude toward innocent people of Balochistan who are facing the military wrath of Pakistan army.

Our friends even contacted Edhi for relief effort but deaf and blind response....as if people of Balochistan are not human....how come Edhi is on begging mission in Balochistan??????

I am also sad that so called Pakistani educated people are blind to international reports who are crying that Balochistan is facing the worst state terror. I feel sad when people call defending Balochis a terror group.

Adventure Trip to Gwader..Wild Wild South

I always think, that wild Pakistan offers so much adventure opportunities yet we are not exploring it.
